Installation
Designed for Effortless Installation.
The Splash Shower Filter connects inline between a standard shower arm and your existing showerhead. Two hand-tightened connections, no plumbing changes, and filtered water from your very next shower.
The guide below walks through the sequence. Where the printed instructions supplied with your filter differ from this page, the printed instructions take precedence.

Step-by-step video guide coming soon.
Step by step
Six quiet steps.
Work through the sequence in order, from turning the water off to your first filtered shower.
Prepare your shower and turn off the water
Close the shower valve, or the main water supply if your shower has no separate valve, then let the water drain from the showerhead.
Remove the existing showerhead
Unscrew the showerhead from the shower arm by hand. If it will not move, follow the removal advice from its own manufacturer rather than forcing it.
Inspect and clean the shower-arm threads
Wipe the threads clean of old tape, mineral residue and debris, so the new connection seats evenly and seals properly.
Install the Splash filter
Seat the supplied O-ring, wrap the shower-arm threads with the supplied thread tape, and screw the filter onto the arm by hand. Where the instructions in the box differ from this guide, follow the box.
Reattach the showerhead
Screw your showerhead onto the filter outlet and hand-tighten to finish the connection.
Turn on the water and check for leaks
Open the valve and run water through the filter for 5 to 10 minutes before your first shower. Check both connections for drips and hand-tighten further if needed.
